ANIME TO LAYERS
Prepare an illustration for separate edits
Character, scenery and foreground elements can be useful as separate assets. AI decomposition is an estimated reconstruction; the current tested examples are product images, not anime artwork.
LAYER WORKSPACE
Explore three real layer resultsStart with a suitable source image
Use a clear PNG, JPEG or WebP within 10 MB and 24 million pixels. Keep the original illustration for checking outlines and colors.
Dense overlapping details, hair strands and flat-colored outlines may be difficult to separate consistently.
Inspect what AI reconstructs
Compare silhouettes, facial details, line art and hidden regions with the source. Do not assume an occluded character part has been reconstructed correctly.
Anime-specific quality is not yet validated here. Try the existing product samples to understand the editor, and assess each new result on its own.
Layers are only the first step for animation
Separate PNG assets may help prepare a scene for later editing or animation. Position and visibility controls can help explore a composition.
The export does not provide a rig, motion, a complete Live2D model or editable vector line art. Those tasks require a suitable downstream application.
