IMAGE TO LAYERS
Image layer editor — turn images into editable layers
Separate the scene. Select the subject. Make each layer your own. Explore real AI layer results, adjust the composition and export the pieces you need.
LAYER WORKSPACE
Explore three real layer resultsWhat is an image layer editor?
An image layer editor lets you work with the separate pieces of an image: a product, a prop, a shadow or a background. Transparent areas keep each piece independent.
AI layer decomposition can estimate these pieces from a flat image. It creates a new layer reconstruction; it does not recover the original design file.
Upload. Inspect. Export.
Start with a sample or preview a PNG, JPEG or WebP image. When the cloud service is available, consent to processing and request AI separation.
Select individual layers, switch between the original and the composite, then adjust visibility, opacity, order and position before downloading.
From transparent PNG to layered PSD
Download one transparent PNG, a flattened composite PNG, or a ZIP containing the editable PNG layers and a manifest.
Layered PSD keeps raster layers separate for a desktop editing workflow. Check the exported file in your target application; Photoshop compatibility has not been verified on a desktop device.
Make room for a new composition
For product photography, inspect the bottle, shoe or can independently of its background. For a campaign, try a different arrangement without flattening every edit.
Separate assets also help prepare illustrations and animation scenes. A layer is a starting point for editing, rather than a guarantee that every hidden surface has been reconstructed correctly.
Find the workflow you need
Explore image-to-PSD, transparent foreground export and splitting an image into object layers. Each guide opens the same image layer editor.
Crop an image to a rectangle or split it into grid tiles with the local tools. Use object-layer separation when you want to isolate a subject rather than cut a fixed rectangle.
Inspect the details that matter
The available product samples were actually processed by the cloud model: skincare produced six layers, footwear three, and a beverage composition four. These counts include the background.
Fine text, reflective surfaces, shadows and occluded details may change during reconstruction. Compare with the original and inspect transparent edges before using a result.
Local editing, optional cloud processing
Sample editing and downloads run in your browser. Uploading a file for preview alone does not start AI generation.
AI separation sends an image to the cloud provider only after you agree and the service is available. Avoid uploading sensitive images unless you are comfortable with that processing.
Can I try it before processing my own image?
Yes. Choose a ready-made sample to inspect its layers and try editing and downloads. This sample workflow does not submit a new AI generation request.
Own-image generation depends on cloud service availability. The browser editor does not promise free cloud processing, instant results or lossless recovery.
